This Privacy Policy describes how SOTRUST Phone Backup ("we", "our", or "the App"), operated by Nanjing Xingui Yuanying Trading Co., Ltd., handles information when you use the App. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Our core principle: SOTRUST Phone Backup operates entirely on your device. Your photos, videos, and contacts are copied directly from your phone to your own USB drive. We do not upload, collect, store, or transmit your personal media to any server or third party.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

Your photos or videos
Your contacts and their details
Your name, email address, or account information
Your location or device identifiers (except as minimally required by the operating system)

There is no account registration, no analytics SDK, and no advertising in this App.

2. How Your Data Is Used

All data processed by the App remains on your device and on the USB drive you choose. Specifically:

Photo Library access (photos & videos) is used solely to copy your selected media to your USB drive at your request. We never modify or delete your photos automatically.
Contacts access is used solely to export your contacts as a vCard (.vcf) file to your USB drive at your request.

3. Data Storage & Security

Backed-up files are written directly to your USB drive. A small local record of already-backed-up files (file identifiers and sizes only, never the media content itself) is stored on your device to enable incremental backup — so we don't copy the same file twice. This record never leaves your device.

Because everything happens locally, the security of your data depends on your device and USB drive. We recommend keeping your USB drive in a safe place.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud services. We do not share your information with any third party.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not collect your personal information, there is generally no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete. You remain in full control of your data at all times — simply delete the backed-up files from your USB drive or uninstall the App at any time.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) applies. As we do not collect, sell, or share personal information, we do not fall under typical CCPA disclosure obligations. If you have any questions about your rights, contact us below.
